Elise's Baby Shower

Saturday 5th August 2006. We celebrated the imminent arrival of Teenie with a baby shower. It was a great Saturday afternoon as we gathered together with family and friends. Elise looked radiant in her full bloom of pregency.
I had asked my niece Assunta to please help me cater for this party if time permitted as I know she is a very busy Mum herself. She surpassed all my expectations with the beautiful array of food she made. There were small fairy poppy seed cakes decorated with pink daisies and sprinkled with edible glitter, there were passionfruit fairy cakes with white chocolate swirls, then we had what appeared to be small mushrooms which were made with merang. She made tiny shortcake swivels decorated with a sparkle sweet. She has ribbon sandwiches and a great mixture of very tasty savoury finger foods. She is an absolute gem.
