How To Keep Your Mind Off A Very Important Event

Here are some of the pit stops. !9th September 2006. Well, what a way to take your mind off one of the biggest events of your life. The birth of your 1st born child. Elise rang this morning with the usual first comment “no nothing has happened I’m still here,” but informed us that she had been given an emergency appointment at the dentist as she had been up most of the night with a bad toothache. Elise had a few errands to do today so it was a perfect opportunity for me to play chauffer for the day. First and foremost, it was off to the dentist then, there was a quick visit to Woolworths for last minute items for the hospital this evening. We were to pop into the newsagency but Elise decided that a quick powder room stop was in order, right now, can’t wait.
We then continued off to the local City Council Office for some plans to be dropped in, this was followed by a quick pop-in to her hairdresser for her favorite shampoo and conditioner. All the while the staff who served her and knew her, could not believe that she was still running around and most importantly that she was being induced this evening. And she thought she was going to be nervous. Ha!!!!
