More of the view again. The little town at the base is Marloola.

Dinner was at the Terrace Seafood Resturant. The Eyrie drive the guests to the resturant and after a supburb dinner the resturant drives you back to your resort. What service. We were served the most scrumptious breakfast on the patio overlooking those views.
Here are Jenice, Carmel, Chris and Robyn in the gardens overlooking the great views.
And these are the spectacular views. Below you can see the house which is located on top of the mountain. It stands on thirty five acres of land. There are bushwalking trails, a tennis court, swimming pool with a view, a spa, again with a view, and so much more. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly as are their labrador dogs.

Ladies weekend away was on 25th to 26th on November. You have read in previous entries how we have a ladies night out every six weeks and at the end of year, a weekend away. We have also been known to go away for a weekend in the cooler months so as to enjoy accomadation that caters for the cosy at heart. We commenced the day at Chris's 'place for morning tea and our tradational exchange of presents. This year was a little different because poor Lyn could not join us as her husbane John had an accident and was due for surgery on the Saturday evening. We wanted her to feel as much of the action as we could. This year Robyn booked the getaway and absolutaly excelled in her choice of venue. We stayed at the Eyrie Escape which is located on the edge of the Blackall Range. It is halfway between Brisbane and Noosa and the views are to die for. You can see Caloundra directly in front and to the right the Glasshouse Mountains loom in the distance. The service is supberb, and the rooms are five star quality, all with those spectacular views to be enjoyed even when in bed. I ended up by myself in the Green Room which is featured in the brochure. (click on Eyrie Escape) On the way up we stopped in Malaney for a spot of lunch. I have never seen such a large sandwhich in my life.
I highly recommend a stay at this wonderful retreat.
