New Year's Eve, Our Anniversary & Jimmy turns 60

Jimmy and I have a triple celebration on new year's eve. We were married at 6pm on 31st December and it is Jimmy's birthday on the 1st January. This year it is very special as Jimmy turns the big 60.
When we married we booked our reception at Coolden reception lounge in New Farm (which now has Coolden appartments built on the site). We were given the ballroom and extra time to make it more special being new year's eve. After the reception we all kicked on to celebrate New Year's Eve. We had three birthday cakes made and we celebrated Jimmy's, my Mum's and the chief bridsmaid's birthdays. It was a reception that was remembed for a long time by our guests.
This year we were very lucky as Renae had access to an appartment block next door to the Story Bridge Hotel. She invited Jimmy and I to share it with her and have a closer view of the fire works. I tried to photograph the atmosphere of the surrounding appartments and the parties that were being held on all the balconies.

Renae and Jimmy acting the goat at the enterance of the appartment block.

Jimmy and I toasting in the new year, our 36th wedding anniversary and Jimmy's 60th birthday. Jimmy always wondered what it was like wearing a teatowel on his head. Wonder no more Jimmy.

Renae's bright idea= Watching Jimmy with his beer wraped in a teatowel, she wondered if he would wrap his head in the teatowel.
