Savanna's 2nd Birthday

Savanna turned two a few weeks ago and this is my coverage of her very special day as seen by my camera. In our family it is tradation to say "Goodnight my ?? year old." This started when my girls were very little and we have continued it all this time. First thing on the following morning we say, "Good morning my ?? year old." and so start the celebrations.
Picture below: Savanna still one year old ready for bed as we all line up to give her a very special good night kiss as we say, "Good night my one year old." While Savanna sleeps we set about decorating the living area and a very big surprise for the birthday girl when she wakes up as a big 2 year old.
While Elise and I are busy decorating the inside of the house, Jimmy and Troy set about constructing the swing set.
"Good morning my two year old treasure girl." XXXXXXXXXXOOOOOOOOOO A test run of the swing set is in order.
Savanna tries out a few features of her birthday present.Savanna was having a farmyard theme to her party therefore Elise and Troy chose a birthday cake along those lines.
When we arrived at Gymboree, we surveyed the entertainment rooms and help set up the food, drinks and final touches. As I turned around I saw Savanna rip the head off the cow and was about to eat it. Noooooo.... I called out as we managed to retrive the head and placed it back where it belonged.
Picture below: Elise with one of the wigs for their play time. This one is for dress up time about the hula girl from Honolulu.
And we can not have a dress up time without a clown wig.
Elise really enjoys dressing up to entertain Savanna, and soon little Blake.
These were the bags that all the ckildren went home with after the party. Elise added a book, toys and some chocolates.
Aunty Nae arrives for the festivities.
A beautiful family picture of the BEST family.
Troy has thought that all their christain names spell out as BEST, so BEST it is.
Jimmy with his little man Blake.
Us with our precious Grandbabies.
All the parents hold up the parshute while they sing a song.
And now it is time for all the littlies to hop in the centre while the grownups sing and go round in a circle, first one way then another.
Savanna shaking her maracas to the rhythm of the music. This is a favorite for all the children as the music is lively and they have to stop when the music stops and then start again.
Savanna absolutly loved this run. Large rubber tubes were placed under the mats which made it a very bumpy run. She laughed and loved it even more when she fell over. Aunty Nae playing with Savanna for one of the games.
This is the only group picture of most of the children. At this age it is very difficult to have all of them together.
Everybody enjoying the goodies.

Sandwiches made especially for the little ones.
All the children absolutly love this song and the game that comes with it. "Where is Jimbo?" Firstly they are asked "where is Jimbo?" and they all have to guess while the orginisor knocks on some cupboard doors. You expect Jimbo to be a large stuffed toy. When he pops out it is almost dissapointing to see how small he is. But size does'nt bother the littlies.
Peter, Ronda and Renae enjoyinf the goodies.
They all look so cute and little Blake is in there as well.

Savanna blows out the candles and cuts the cake with the help of Mummy and Daddy.
Every body sings "Happy Birthday To You" Hip Hip Ha Ray for Savanna. YAEEEEE...
