Devastating Brisbane Storm

Nothing like this had hit our beautiful city for over two decades. The latest similar devastation was in the early seventies. That also left a trail of destruction like this storm. These are just a few pictures showing some of the damage it left in it's path. Elise and Troy have arranged to distribute some activity packs for the children who have had their homes and schools damaged. They will also give out movie passes to help heal the children's trauma. Troy has also managed to have some of his bussiness colleagues help out with donations in their quest to help where they can. They are truly insperational.

Oh Lucy ~ how awful this all is. I have seen about it over on Elises blog.
It is so wonderful that they are doing the gift packs and I am sure that the children who have been affected will be so grateful.

Dani & Tabitha, Thank you so much for your good wishes. Yes it is very devistating for the families concerned. Troy went along to deliver the gift packs today and he said that he felt he was in another country when he reached the badly hit area. He was moved as reciepents were reduced to tears with the E's generosity. I am so proud of Elise and Troy to organise this wonderful gesture.
