It was a very enjoyable and a momentus time to share in my sister Sarina's 70th birthday party. She postponed her monthly chemo session so she could be well enough to enjoy the festivities. We also celebrated my elder sister Rosina's birthday as they are only two days apart. For some reason they both began to giggle like young girls when we sang a double happy birthday.
One of the tables sharing in the celebrations.
Another table looking hungry. There was a fair amount of anti pasto served but the main dinner was served very late.
Only close family shared this celebration. It was an effort for my nieces to convince their Mother Sarina to have any get together as she does not want a fuss made of her birthdays.
Little Blake slept through most of the evening. Little Treasure.
Sav not being very lady like and showing us her belly.
Much better and shuch a precious cutie.

Sarina blows out her candels and the singing begins.
Rosina and Saring enjoying the festivities. I find these pictures so heart warming and a change from seeing Sarina so unwell during her very long illness and through her three lots of chemo.

The boys stand back and join in singing happy birthday.
