Waiting, Waiting, Waiting

It is 21.00 in Brisbane and Minnie Boy Blue has not made an appearance as yet.
Troy and Elise were told to be at the Mater Private Hospital at 07.00 this morning, 3rd July. It was a very rushed early morning situation. They had planned on bringing Savanna to us at 05.45 so they could have a leisurely goodbye. They delivered Savanna to us at 06.30. That meant a very rushed and hurried farewell to their Treasure Girl.
Elise and Troy phoned a few times to give us the progress or lack of.
Late afternoon they decided that they would like a visit from Savanna, so off we went.
Apparently it was an extremely busy day in the birth suit and they did not have time to organize the induction. Troy and especially Elise were not impressed.
At 17.30 a nurse came into the room and announced that they were ready to break the waters and put Elise on a drip to start the labor process.
Elise immediately asked for and received an epidural. The last we heard, all was proceeding to plan. Their Obstetrician advised Elise and Troy that this procedure brings on a quicker delivery. I had been telling Elise lately that Minnie might be a 4th of July baby and he might well be.
I don’t think any of us were correct in guessing the arrival date.
Now we pray that all goes well and that both Mum and Bub are both healthy.

Mummy giving her girl Sav a hug and kiss.

Daddy giving Sav a hug and kiss before they left.
Sav all dressed up and ready to visit Daddy and Mummy.
Sav passing the time with a little sketch.
At least the wait was less trysome as they have a great view of the city skyline and the Brisbane River from their room

Sav watching T.V. with Mummy.

Because the Mater Mother's opened last month it is all loverly and new. The rooms are only slightly bigger than the old Mater Mother's. There is couch of sorts for Troy to sleep on. This will be far better than the recliner he slept in when Savanna was born.

Hi Tanya,
Do you think he will be clinging to his Mum for the rest of life? The little Treasure is making us all think that he is a mummy's boy and just loves being just were he is.
Thank you for your kind and comforting good wishes.
Please call again.

Thanks so much for the update. I've been wondering all day. Can't wait to hear what his name is.

This is like waiting for a friend to call and tell you the baby has arrived (only internet style.

Will be back again to see if there's any news tomorrow.

Elise will probably be exhausted by the time Mini finally gets here. I'm so sorry things didn't go as she expected. I'll check back later, thanks so much for the update!
