Welcome To Minnie Boy Blue

Announcing the arrival of
BLAKE JAMES ROSS E.......
He was welcomed by his Daddy and Mummy at 22.00. Brisbane time.
His weight on arrival was 8.11 lbs. Length 54 cm.
By all accounts, he looks exactly like Savanna looked at birth. He has lots of black hair and is just absolutely beautiful. I don't dought that for a minute.
His name: Blake was a name chosen by Elise and Troy. James for Elise's dad and Ross for Troy's dad.
The cord was wrapped around his neck and this caused some worry for Elise as he was very blue and not moving untill he was given oxygen.
This time round Troy did not fend too well and was ready for a fient when he wittnessed the baby's head protruding. Elise explained that the baby was half out and she was asking Troy if he was all right as he had his head between his knees. The nurses had poured some water over his head pria to this.
Will follow up with pictures very soon. We will be taking Savanna up first thing tomorrow morning as Mummmy and Daddy want her to be their first visitor and are very keen for her to meet her new baby brother.
We are so grateful that our prays have been answered and that Mum. Dad and beautiful Blake all are well and healthy.

Isn't that wonderful!

He's lovely, just divine. Elise must be exhusted> As for Troy, what a brave brave man, there's no way I'd even allow my Craig down the 'other end' let alone look.

His family own a large abbatoir and when my first was the born and the doctor was cutting me (episiotomy) Craig said it sounded like a body of beaf being cut open. He's seriously still traumatised and it's been almost 8 yrs. So Tell Troy he's done a fab job.

Can't wait for more pictures.

Congratulations,

Em
